Zombie Apocalypse Themed town Ideas?

So I'm thinking about starting a Zombie Apocalypse themed town and need help with ideas. Once I get My 3Ds for Christmas (I lost mines a day ago along with my acnl) I'll start right away! I'm thinking black roses would be nice for this idea? and should the town be in Autumn when I do it?

I'm also looking for town name, villagers and PWP Ideas too! I'm also thinking about using the 7-11 set for a grocery themed store idea too in one of the houses?

Possible name idea if you don't mind it being cliche: Racoon City

Other possible ideas:
Look for villagers with tin houses.
Coco as a villager is a must.
Remove all trees and plant perfect fruit trees, shake off fruit until the trees lose their leaves.
Bury a lot of skeleton items.
Get rid of most of your grass so your town only has dirt (have a running party).
As for pwps: the bus stop and the fence look sort of post-apocalyptic. Caution signs would also work, too. Perhaps the pile of pipes as well.
