Your thoughts on the New Ghostbusters movie?

I'm pretty sure the problem is not the fact that the cast is female

And what I don't like is that the four are women, not men.

While most people are criticising it because the trailer looks crap, it doesn't look funny, remakes are always bad and so on, there are actually a whole lot of people who are angry and upset because the actors are female, calling it "feminist bull****" and such like. If you look at the hashtag on twitter or the comments on the youtube trailer, you'll see quite a few comments of the sort. I don't care about the movie at all nor do I care why others don't like it,but there are actually a quite few comments of that nature and quite a few people angry. (Although no where near as much as people are making it out to be)

I mean, just judging that it's made roughly 17 million on a 144 million budget, and that it's going to flop even harder because Star Trek is opening next week...

There's only so much you can blame on sexism.

I know, its a flop regardless. I'm not blaming anything on sexism, I never once mentioned sexism. I'm just saying that actually some people are responding negatively because the actors are female.(as dinomates stated they'd never seen someone comment negatively for that reason).

The movie isn't doing badly because of "sexism" it's doing badly because it's most likley not good (based on reviews) I'm fully aware of that.

Just watched it. I wouldn't say it was too bad, but it wasn't too good either. I enjoyed the characters quite a bit though
