Your thoughts on companies ripping off games

I tried a demo of Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed on my 3DS, and it looks like a crappy ripoff of Mario Kart 7. SEGA changed the water driving from underwater to a boat, and the gliding to a plane. What's next? Sonic & All Stars Tennis?

I have both of them, and neither of them is a rip-off. Sonic Racing Transformed might seem like it, but it has different characters, different main story, different tracks, etc. I think they're both really good, and it was time for Sonic to release the sequel anyway, so that people don't become bored with the first one.

Agreed. I don't play either of them a lot anyway since I suck at racing games badly
It's like comparing Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing. Each are very unique in their own, childish, and very cute way ^_^

That's essentially every COD sequel.

I don't like to, but sometimes the game is actually fun, so I play it. If it is just a terrible rip off and reference at every corner, uh, no. Angry birds is a rip off game. Completely overrated and now has fricking constant merchandise and is used in a LOT of commercials... It drives me insane. I dont even think it is a fun game! I had fun with it for awhile, but it got too repetitive and annoying, so I deleted it.
