My sister has Beau, Diana, Merengue, Marshal, Kid Cat in her town. Out of them all, only Kid Cat and Marshal are the ones I really like. Beau, Diana, and Merengue are just okay for me. Initially my sister didn't want to have any cat villager but I convinced her to get one; Kid Cat happened to show up as a starter so we're keeping him. He's just adorable! Fauna had showed up in the camp once and I thought she was adorable, but my sister wants Diana.
For my main town though, I have Zucker, Marina, and Fang. I really love Marina; she's a random move-in and the fact that she plotted her house right next to Julian's just like twinsies just makes her so much better. I recently got Zucker, thinking that he would fit into my town theme (my sister wants him anyways). I haven't experienced him enough to say if I like him or not. He is cute but my other Lazy in the town is Papi, who I absolutely adore. As for Fang, I like him but I'd like to swap him out for Lobo, but my sister insisted on him staying...
The only top tier villager I've currently ever had is Lolly, and I honestly thought she was a little bit overrated. I'm a lot happier with my low-tier villagers, if I may say, due to how different they feel.
Beau and Fauna are both in my town atm, and I'm hoping for Merengue at some point thru resets or the campsite or something,
but i've had her before in another town. I've also had Chief, Marina, and Marshal, who i liked (and stitches, who i LOVED). Diana didn't really impress me when i had her, and Ankha isn't really impressive to me either, but that might be b/c the only cat villager i'm attached to is Bob, and the rest i'm kinda eh about.
I really want to see Zucker in game... I don't think i ever have before.
I don't see anything wrong with liking Tier 1 Villagers.
I don't really look at tiers, it's all about my affection towards a certain villager. Well, so it happens that high tier characters, in fact, are in this high tier for a reason. And guess what, it's not all about their looks.
IMO, every villager is unique in their own way. We have some pretty awful ones but hey, each of them has this extraspecialsomething.
I have Stitches, Lolly and Rosie currently. Rosie I grabbed from my campsite, but she's actually for my boyfriend's town. Stitches I've loved ever since I first played WW and Lolly was one of my starting villagers who quickly became my mayor's bestie.
I have Beau (random move in) and Marina (was in my campsite). I'm definitely going to keep Marina; possibly Beau. Not sure how he's number 1... he's cute but I think there are cuter lazies.
Molly, Stitches, Lolly, and Fauna are all in my town. Molly is my favorite villager ever. Haven't decided if I will keep Stitches yet, but Lolly and Fauna won't be staying.
I had Diana, Ankha, Marina, and Rosie in previous towns. I love Rosie but with only ten villagers I had to give her up this time around. The other three I like, but they're not my favorites.
I've never had Beau, Zucker, Fang, Merengue, Chief, Marshal, or Kid Cat.
I have Diana, Stitches, Rosie, and Marshal. I love them all to bits. Diana was a lot cuter than I expected! I had had Rosie in my town before, but this time, I really click with her a lot better.
I have pics from all 3 (though Marina's was via April Fools Day). Right now, plan to keep them permanently.

I think I lucked into these, as, if I remember correctly, they were all campers. Was going to keep Zucker permanently, but he moved out after a TT fluke. Had pics from all. Would definitely rank Fauna & Zucker as favs. :3
Beau, Fauna, Diana, and the wolves I all like. The others I personally don't have interest in, I have Lolly she will be leaving when the time comes but she is just ok for me, a little bland.
Oh, I had stitches too, he was sweet just not my style, I prefer Papi. Same with Marshall, not a fit if he is still t 1...I don't go by them myself anymore most I love aren't up there anymore.
