Your Pet Turtles (softshell AND/OR snapping)

who here has a pet turtle? Mine's a snapping named Raphael. I plan to get the softshells eventually or more snappings for the rest of the TMNT.

kinda, the snapping turtles do not need any containment but softshells have a little tub instead of a tank

snapping turtles are a new species in nh and they can be displayed without containment. they just vibe. softshell turtles are a bit less poplar but they get a cute little tub

i figured the softshells would have been tbh, or at least some of the bugs.

For the soft shells, if you get 3, you could make a little statue of them and display them similarly to a snapping turtle. I haven't done this as they're not in season for me and I only have 1 extra, but I would assume it would look similar ish :3

I think it's hilarious, honestly! (Though hopefully people realize this is only a game and give the turtles the respect they deserve IRL.)

Though what's really funny is I've seen people laugh or criticize Blather's reaction to receiving a snapping turtle (he said he was chased by one and I think he said he had to jump on top of a car to get away from it.) When I see people say "It's only a turtle!" I think these people have probably never seen one in real life.



I have around 10 snapping turtles on my island. I like to have things like turtles, lawn gnomes, and decoy ducks all over my island like a scavenger hunt.

I have the snapping turtle near my fountain where my airport entrance is at. Since my visitors commented on it, I decided to leave it there.

I only have 7 so far. One in my house, one on the patio in front, two on the rocks nearby (Arthur and his boyfriend Steve), another one on the sand just south of Arthur and Steve, and two worshiping Godzilla on another beach.
