(Your Opinion): Do you think a town needs paths?

If you're gonna host wifi sessions, your town needs some type of path whether it is patterns, dirt, or just a distinctive area lined with flowers, bushes, trees, etc. unless you are a good host. No paths make for a boring town and if you are not a good host, it is really tough to feel motivated to stay in your town for very long.

The same thing goes for Dream Towns. If I'm walking around and see no form of path, I get so bored, but if there is a path, I end up staying for like twenty minutes longer than I ever meant to.

I agree with this a lot. If there is no designated path, your town would be the same as millions of other towns. Paths make the town unique in their own way. Plus, if there were no path, it would be hard for other visitors to walk around without being yelled at.
So of course, you don't need paths but it's highly recommended! You should at least put a couple of signs out so they get an idea.

A town never NEEDS paths as such. You can get some amazing ones without any paths. I think Aikita didn't have any, or whatever it's called it looked great.

I have a path but that's because of grasswear and I prefer it like that. I had one in Wild World. It's just easier to get around.

Absolutely not. I admire paths in other towns but don't want them at all in mine.

I like the natural look of grass and flowers and want my village to be a forest village, not a modern village with streets and so forth.

I also like to have villagers come and go frequently and redoing all the paths would be a headache. Being paranoid about villagers moving for the sake of keeping paths intact just isn't fun IMO.

A town doesn't 'need' paths. But imo I think it really pulls the whole aesthetic and design of a town together.

I think this is a personal choice sort of thing. I have friends who hate paths and will never use them, and I think their towns are pretty. It's just another way to customize your town to your tastes.

I have paths in my town, but as soon as the grass under them starts to wear away, I'm gonna line the edges with bushes and stuff, and remove all of the patterns so it is a more natural, wornaway dirt path.

I don't care. I visit towns with and without paths, it doesn't matter to me.

My town has paths, mainly to keep the grass-wear controlled but I also like how it looks with them.

I think paths are tacky. I like the grassy village feel, and paths ruin that for me.

But who knows, maybe I'll change my mind?

Certain designs are tacky. But, there are some really cool paths out there. :3

I like paths, I think it ties a town together rather well. For me, if I didn't have a path, my town would be ravaged by grass wear. :x

Does walking cause grass wear? I don't run in my town, but I walk at the fastest pace.

A town can look amazing with our without paths! I need them though, because I tend to forget where my buildings are a lot..and I run into a lot of trees ._.
