It really depends on how big the project is. If it's a huge thing I'll do it the night before it's due and stay up all night if necessary, I did this for a 100 point essay we had weeks to do in class that I never started, I only got 2 hours of sleep that night but still got one of the only A+'s. If it's something small or insignificant I'll normally do it before school starts, in the classes before that one, and in our 20 minute homeroom.
I'm an awful student. I turned an essay in last week that we had 2 months to write (it's worth nearly 30% of our final grade) and I didn't start until 4 days before it was due.
I very rarely study or do assigned readings and I mostly procrastinate on assignments until close to the due date. But I have to do everything in the morning or afternoon, after like 5pm my brain shuts off so I usually never get anything done after that point.
