Do you still play on it or did you restart? If you restarted, what made you restart?

I started late last year, so I still have loads to do with my town!

I restarted my very first town because i lost my cartridge for a long time. But I haven't restarted the new one since, so I've had it for about half a year.

I restarted my first town because I had taken a really long hiatus and wanted to come back to a fresh town. Of course, I then took another long-ish hiatus {shorter than the first one, though} and restarted again.

Honestly, I like restarting more in theory than in actual practice. I like the idea of having new villagers and the excitement of seeing the map for the first time and seeing who my random move-ins will be. However, I don't like naming my town or characters. I also don't like going through the 100% approval mess. It's not bad at first, but for my second town, I just wanted to start already without all the hubbub.

I had my first town for a little over a year, but then I restarted. I restarted shortly after I joined this forum and I was so jealous of everyone's pretty towns. I also didn't understand how big of a deal map layout was. So after thinking about it for a while I restarted mine. It turned out being okay though, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my first town and the campsite and cafe placement was terrible. I still don't know what I want to do with my current town but I'm working on it and am happy with it so far :)

I've had my town since the day the game came out. :)
I haven't restarted, but I have definitely destroyed everything and have redone it so many times now.

I've had my first town since June 9th 2014, day I got it. I won't ever reset it, I'm too sentimental. Honeymoo is a lovely place.

I reseted my first town because I lost my favorite villager Willow and was so heart broken about it haha, and besides my town was pretty bleh. But luckily, when I got my new town, Willow was there (:

On my first town, and I don't know if I'll ever restart... there was a lot I didn't consider when I started this one, like while my river placement is (imo) perfect, I'm not too thrilled with having five lakes scattered around... and also I hate my mayor's eyes and didn't realize at first I had any control over that. Maybe if I lost my favourite villagers I'd delete and start over, but even then I know I'd regret it.

This is my first town in my new copy of my game. I had a physical copy but sold it last year for some stupid reason I am embarrassed to say. I am enjoying it a lot more than before though, probably because I'm in a better condition than I was last year.

I've only had two towns, first town on each of my copies, but i am considering restarting my first copy since it was lost for so long and I have zero dreamies on it. I already started moving a lot of my stuff to my new town using my boyfriends DS. Which is nice to have.

Restarted my very first town on January 4th this year, due to a terrible map, villager houses in bad places, and giving up on cycling a villager back.
I had one of my friends hold my items while I was creating the new town.

So worth it <3333

I got my copy of Animal Crossing for my birthday last year and played my first town until February, then I restarted, mainly because I hated most of my villagers and the map :'D. I love this one so much more <3

I've had my town (Incheon) for almost a month now. my plot setting is terrible and I had no idea what I was doing when I started but i love my villagers.

instead of restarting my town I think I'll just get another game and have a second town instead! maybe three if I get into cycling. ♡

On New Leaf I have the same town since I got the game (the day it came out in Europe, I think it was June 14th 2013 or so). Sometimes I wish it was different but I'm too attached to it to restart! :p
But on Wild World I restarted once.

I have my first town, but given that I only got the game in December that's not too bad... I do have a second cartridge that I use for cycling, but eventually that will be reset and made into my "dream" town... my original one will not be reset, I call that my "organic" town as I try not to TT and I play the game normally with it :)

I've had my Joy town for almost two years. It's very special to me. It has almost 100 percent catalog completed, all gold badges, over 2000 dream visitors, etc. I don't play it much anymore, because I have 4 other towns, but I would never think of resetting it.

I got a 3DS and the game last January, I reset the game once had Dizzy in it and a couple of cute other villagers at the start. When I started again after the reset, I got Lucky as a random move in (I didn't know about plot resetting until mid-January) and I got Lucky after Drake moved out. I had no idea about villager tiers back then or which villagers I thought I would've liked until I looked up their names and saw their designs. Anyway, I let Lucky move in?? I absolutely loved him ; v ; I take caps of him all the time and my friends (and the people who follow me on twitter) know about it very well lol. After that I got a bunch of my other favorite villagers through here (like O'Hare and Ankha).

I started working on my town- most shops are open now, and I have a bunch of flowers etc but that was what sealed the deal ;-; because everything felt too cramped. I was trying to plan out where PWPs were supposed to go and ran out of space immediately. The plots can't be spread out so that everyone has some space around them either.

So. Long story short, I'm going to be resetting some time soon :(
