Your Favorite Xbox game?

If we're talking classic Xbox then my two favorites are Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex and Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects.

I haven't touched an Xbox in a long while, but the last game I really enjoyed playing was probably Fable 3 or Red Dead Redemption. I was also addicted to Halo 3 as an early teen.

phhht, easy-- Halo.

it had the best graphics, best sound, best voice acting, best gameplay, best soundtrack, best story, and best immersion of any video game i had ever played. and you add that rumbling xbox classic controller in my giant American hands, it blew me away!

Halo 3 hands down - though I guess the same can't really be said nowadays.

Back during it's release Halo 3 was the definitive game of the Xbox 360. No single game will ever define a console as strongly as this game did in my opinion.

After it's release, Halo 3 was essentially the Xbox 360 dashboard for a few years. It was always an experience making a custom game lobby and inviting everyone on your friends list, and having them do the same. It was SO easy to fill up a full lobby and play some really obscure gamemode that nobody had played until then - as well as the classics that everyone played just about every day. (Jenga, Duckhunt, I am Legend, etc)

I feel one of the reasons Halo 3 was so IMMENSELY successful was because it was one of the few major games that was released before the implementation of the party system for Xbox Live. Before that implementation, all communication took place in the game lobby, which made the game EXTREMELY sociable, and was half the fun. After the implementation is when I remember the game's activity dying down.

Since you could always stay in a private party with all of your friends, there was never really a reason to talk to anybody else, and so this really weird system of inviting everybody you could and massively expanding your circle of online friends seemed to just die. This is why I think Halo Reach and Halo 4 simply couldn't compare to Halo 3's popularity, and it's very sad to think about because in my mind it's that one feature which singlehandedly killed Xbox Live for me.

But enough rambling and ranting and whining.

My current favorite Xbox game is Rainbow Six Siege. Not because I play it on Xbox but because I play it an absolute TON on PC and it happens to be on Xbox.

Like the old first one? Midtown Madness.. I think we had the 3rd one. Gotta love those crashing car games haha!

My favorite xbox game (360) is Ori and the blind forest, its a beautiful game with some good puzzles, it isnt a gore-fest like the newer xbox games, and its just an all-out fun game, after all, who wouldnt have fun launching off of walls to evade a downpoar of spikes, then flying off on a feather just to triple jump on a falling platform then dash away to victory? also, lots of sad moments :c

if we're talking the first xbox then it's Dreamfall: The Longest Journey and The Sims Bustin' Out

The one game I've played the most on Xbox is probably Titanfall, so there's that I suppose. Really enjoyed the MP, it was the kind of fun I had with the classic Call of Duty games. Besides that I've had a lot of fun goofing in Sunset Overdrive.

Viva Pinata. I spent tons of time playing that. I enjoyed getting all the animals, naming them and forcing them to **** each other...But mostly it was just a fun 'buildy/look after things' game with the N64 era Rare charm. It's pretty much the last nugget of quality from Rare as far as I'm concerned.

I also loved the Halo games (the Bungie ones at least...). Favorite of them would be either 3 or Reach. I have a lot of fond multiplayer memories of both.

I used to love Jade Empire, but then I went back and played it...

Aside from those, most of the games I enjoyed on Xbox were multiplatform...I'm not counting those...

^ yeah Viva Pinata was fun! Loads of good games on xbox.. I loved playing Skyrim, Elder scrolls, Guitar hero, rock band, naruto, titanfall to name a few... and most recently Destiny. :>

on the classic xbox my fave games were probably disney's extreme skate adventure (the soundtrack to this was the best), jet set radio future, kung fu chaos and midtown madness.

it was my first ever console (we weren't allowed video games for a long time) so i have lots of fond memories ^.^
