Your favorite personality dialogues? :D

I'm basing my island design around my favorite parts; my villagers.

Finished Sherb and Tia's areas. Sherb has that one dialogue where he doesn't let anyone sit on a certain seat in case his grandma visits, so I put a grave and rocking chair in his garden.

He also likes bugs a lot so I put two beehives next to each other. The ant farm item is on the ground next to a spoiled turnip. I may eventually out something "scent" related as he loves his smells a little too much.

Tia has a normal personality and for me has said that line about her parents. So I made a two seated table with dinnerware. A serving cart is in the side with mom's bday cake. And of course a traditional tea set on another table nearby.

Not personality specific but I put a bird house and bath next to each other. There's also a little walkway from her house straight to a little nook area next to a pond; a small table and chair with a tiny library next to it.

Have every personality on my island. Would like to know your favorite dialogue/letters so I can be inspired for more design ideas later.

I'm not sure if it's tied to personality or species, but in Japanese I saw Tangy watching the fish in the aquarium and she said, "Looking at all these fish makes me hungry!"

I laughed soooo hard.

Whether that means you should or shouldn't put goldfish bowls outside your cat villagers' houses, I'll leave up to you. xD

Hmm, I don't remember the exact dialogue, but I can tell you something I did for my snooty, Portia: she told me she loves making pottery and that when you sit and face the clay long enough it's like a conversation where you have to convince it to become what you want to be. So, since I already had an iron garden chair and table outside her house but hadn't decided what to put on them, I crafted a classic pitcher and customized it in a style I thought she'd like, then put it out there so I can imagine it's something that she made!

I also gave my cranky, Chief, a garden rock for his yard after he told me something along the lines of: "You've heard that one man's trash is another man's treasure, right? Well, my personal treasure is a real smooth rock! No, not like the music, like a real smooth river rock I found as a kid. I used to think it was valuable, and then I grew up and realized I was right!". I pretend that the garden rock is the personal treasure that he told me about!

Rolf went on a little tangent today getting all sarcastic about emailing and then saying, "In my day, if you wanted to talk to someone, you had to walk over to their house and shout at them!". He also told me some dad joke about how if I think about him before bed, I'll wake up to a sunny day because he has a "sunny disposition". Classic dad.

Static (cranky) said something like "Kids nowadays have it too easy, they use calculators and stuff, in my time you had to know how to calcute. Ask me how much is 7+4, it's 13!" I love this dumb squirrel lol
Also Henry (smug) talking to Chops (also smug):
H: If you could take one thing to a deserted island, what would that be?
C: It's obvious, say with me.
H & C: *doing a pose* LIPBALM!

this is probably the same with all lazy villagers, but I love when I talk to Ozzie while he's fishing and he says "a huh huh I can't wait to touch a fish!" it makes me crack up lolol also when he talks about the bugs in his house its so funny I like to give him bugs as presents bc of how often he talks about the bugs in his house haha
