Hopper is my favorite penguin villager. I've liked his design since I first saw him in the GameCube game and I like his Cranky personality. He was one of my first villagers in my first GameCube Animal Crossing town before I remade it. I eventually reacquired him years later in New Leaf and he's currently living in my all-bird town.

Honorable Mentions:

Boomer is my second favorite. He's another whose design I've liked since the GameCube game and I'm hoping to finally have him living in one of my New Leaf towns in the future.

I'm also a fan of Aurora, Cube, Flo, Friga, Gwen, Roald, Sprinkle, and Tex. I could go on and on with reasons why I like these, but it would take too long. Suffice it to say that penguins are one of my favorite animals.

I'm not too big of a fan of Puck, but I don't absolutely hate his design or anything. I wouldn't be upset having him in a town for a while. I really dislike Iggly though.

Hopper is my favourite. I really like real rockhopper penguins, so to see them in Animal Crossing makes me happy. Plus he's a cranky villager.

I like Sprinkle the best, her design is really cute! Her house is very nicely coordinated as well. I'm surprised she's not popular among pastel towns.

Besides Roald, he's pretty cute
