Just a dreamer who dreams of better days.
Even though he has no chance of winning at this point, my favorite octopus and the one that I voted for is Octavian. I've liked him since I first encountered him in my friend's town in the GameCube game, was really happy that he decided to move to my town, and I went out of my way to reacquire him in New Leaf years later. His Cranky personality is a pretty nice bonus too. The interior design of his house looks good even though I don't really get why it's themed around space, but hey, I'm not complaining.
Marina gets an honorable mention. She's also one of my villagers in New Leaf and she's one of my favorite Normal villagers.
I don't like Zucker's design much at all. It kinda bothers me that his tentacles are red when his head isn't. I know he's based on takoyaki, but I still don't see why so many people think he actually looks good. The only redeeming quality he has for me is the toothpick stuck in his head. Not for any ill will mind you, just because I generally like villagers who have unique aspects to their design, like Jacques' hat.

I like both Marina and Zucker, though I've never had any of the octopus villagers in my town! The closest I've come to that was having Marina and my campsite twice, once it happened while I had 9 villagers, but she wasn't/isn't one of my dreamies so I decided to pass, and the second time was just a few days ago, and I already have 10 villagers. If the cap wasn't 10, I'd probably have her as one of my villagers. I love that she's pink!
Zucker is actually a villager in my friend's town. Amazingly, she picked him up from someone's void. I've always liked how he looks like takoyaki, even if that always reminds me of how delicious takoyaki is and starts cravings
If I had to choose, I guess I'd choose Marina over Zucker just because I prefer the pink over the takoyaki design, but they're both really cute. I don't have any experiences with Octavian, which prob puts him at a bit of a disadvantage.

They're still cute and great though but too plain for my taste. Zucker bon the other hand, is very cute and doesn't look anything like marina and Octavian. Love the fact that he's based on takoyakis. I love takoyakis. Wonder if he taste good or not.

I voted for Zucker mainly because he's a lazy....and he has freckles.
