So as far as I've seen, nobody really posts about their favorite amiibo. So I'd thought I post my favorites for each wave!
Wave 1: Samus
So yes, I know Samus is a fan favorite amiibo simply because of that metallic look to it. It really looks like a robot, and they really let the color explode on such a thin figure. However I'm not really on board with the shadeof orange, but everything else looks awesome. Definitely one of my favorite amiibos
Wave 2: Pit
I'll say this much, it was pretty close between Captain Falcon and Pit. They both are super detailed and look stunning. I can't get over Falcon's suit(?) and the texture of his boot thingy as well as the sweet logo on the back. As for Pit, the angel wing thingies (apologies, I've never played Kid Icarus but I'm assuming he's an angel?) and his bow/sword weapon thingamajig (again, apologies) are still really cool looking. But the deciding factor was that Pit's stand is in the back, and it's blue so ity looks like he's surfing. And Captain falcon's is... well... yeah, case closed.
Wave 3: Mega Man
So you know that Samus is my favorite Wave 1 amiibo because I'm really big sucker for that metallic paint? Well Mega Man (imo)puts Samus to shame. Mega Man is pretty much 3-4 colors including his skin color, but the monochrome look is fantastic. The electric blue paint is awesome, and most face paint jobs are atrocious (I'm looking at you Marth) but it's not that hard to get Mega Man's face right, and it looks perfect! And the pose is just awesome! He was my favorite amiibo...
Wave 4: Ness
OK, this might just be my bias, because Ness is my main but THANK GOD he does not have those clear stands. Ness's design is simple, but it fits him so perfectly. I mean, he's just really simple and cool looking. I also really like Pac Man for the same reason, and that iconic pose but Ness is my main. Shoot me
Wave 5: Palutena
I'm in America, so that left Dark Pit and Palutena. Yeah, Palutena by far on this one. I suck at her, but I can't deny she is one of the most detailed and coolest looking amiibo out there. She's got that really detailed dress and that halo(?) thing behind her (apologies for the third time) but she just looks super cool. This is actually the only amiibo on this list that I don't have, but come on. Dark Pit? He's awesome, but naw.
Wave 6: R.O.B
I actually just got him today. Mr Game & Watch is in my top 3 best characters, and R.O.B is about 7 (yes, I keep track. I'ma nerd ?\_(ツ)_/? ) but Mr Game & Watch came in 4 different poses! That's awesome! But when i got the 3 pack I dropped him on the geround (lietrally! I got proof!) And I just stared at R.O.B. Ihonestly don't have words to describe him except incredible. Nintendo went all out on this guy, and he is my favorite amiibo of all times. I highly, HIGHLY advise you to pick him up even if you have to get the other 2.
