Your Birthday - KK Song

It's my birthday on Friday! Since my ACNL is set in real time, it will be my birthday on ACNL too. So, does this mean I will finally be able to get the KK Slider 'Your Birthday' song? Do I just go visit KK on Saturday?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but from what I've read (and can remember), K.K. Slider will only play that song for you the saturday before your birthday (or if your birthday is on a saturday, he will play it on your birthday). I don't believe he'll still play it for you this saturday. However, the music is reorderable, so you could simply get it from someone else who already has the song. But yeah, if you were looking forward to actually hearing him perform it for you live, then I fear that's not possible anymore. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, though. I'd love to be in this case.
