Your Best Inexpensive Quality of Life Upgrade

Every office should have one of these straight stapler removers. I can remove a staple without tearing off paper; or I can use it to close a staple when I accidentally put too many pages.

There’s also this essential oils blend that I like to use on headaches and minor body pain. It contains lavender, peppermint, and spearmint. I’ve used two different brands thus far and both worked.

A metal bookmark for around $8. They’re much sturdier than the paper ones and feel much nicer to hold. Sadly I lost mine during a move…

Switch shampoo & conditioner brands for about $20+ dollars? I think the one I was using wasn't good for my hair, so I'm trying something with less chemicals and more natural ingredients. Also, body wash for $11 because I had to get more.

A set of oven pans and a pair of oven mitts that have silicone grips. I got them at a discount store and they are the best things I’ve gotten recently for my kitchen. My old oven mitts were old and dirty and a bit singed and one was getting so thin inside that I could feel the heat of the pan.

I have a travel-sized refillable lint roller. Amazon is the only place I know of that sells refills, but it’s so convenient. I use lint rollers a lot, so it was definitely worth it for me.

It retracts, too, so it doesn’t stick to things in my bag. I love it!

Since it's cold weather now, I'm super happy I got a cheap electric blanket, and some of those toe warmers.

We don't have a whole house heating system (it broke, complicated long story pfft), so it gets really cold in winter. I love it to a certain point, but on super cold nights, the electric blanket is amazing. And working outside when it's freezing, i like to use the toe warmers.
