Obviously, it isn't Winter in North America, but there are signs that Fall is going to sleep and Winter is rising to crush all who opposes it. So what signs tell you that Winter is coming?

For me, it's snow. Honestly, just a few minutes ago, I saw some lights outside and I checked to see if it was my mom's car. It wasn't, but when I looked out the window, I shouted out something that probably creeped out everyone else. It was snowing! That's how I know Winter is coming.
Either that, or look to see if the Bell Tree has changed its default background to Winter!

I'm Minnesotan, and I know winter, and it sucks. A foot of snow and negative temps for 3 months. What joy.

Hahaha, I wish I had 5 feet too. People who complain about some blizzard from their childhood covering their houses don't realize how lucky they are.
Sorry you feel that way pear40. In New England, Winter can be pretty cruel here too.

So cozy, right? But what the movies don't show you is shoveling you driveway for hours in negative temps, or walking to your bus stop, or leaving your house. You get really stir crazy because you don't leave your house.

EDIT-Yeah, I've heard about the Northeasters you guys have, and they sound pretty bad.

I love those holiday movies where the snow is so fake. People watching in California are like, "OMG I LUV TEH SNOW!" and I'm up in Minnesota going, ">_>"
