My town was originally planned to be a normal town with no theme. Then, it was planned to be a cute town. Now it's a cute town with a dark side; the whole town has flowers and bamboo and I even provide a flowery themed outfit for dreamers; however, my sister hasn't played the game in a long time, and that gave me an idea. I transformed her "section" of the town into ruins. The flowers around her house are black and I made sure I regularly harvested perfect orange trees around her area so now there are dead trees there. Her house has the shanty exterior. Inside, the main room has KK Synth and Modern furniture; upstairs there are instruments; and the back room is totally white with eraser sofas.

does this sound like a cool idea? I kind of just dislike my whole town atm. My DC is in my signature if you want to check it out. help :v

It kind of sounds like Aika Village, but with less of a story, since that had a beautiful part and then a dead part, but I still really like the idea!

I agree with Alette, it does sound a lot like Aika village, which is awesome. You could make your own back story to it and everything. Another idea is to put creepy villagers like Lucky on the creepy side of town and cutesy villagers like Rosie on the other. But I'm sure you wouldn't want to get rid of your current villagers.

My town doesn't have much of a theme either, but I do plan to have it with mostly cute villagers.
I could make a story, I dunno, but your idea sounds cool :)

I also think it sounds like Aika village!
The whole degradation of the trees and flowers as the story moves on, as opposed to the prettiness in the beginning.
I think it's very interesting and adds variety to your town.
I'd love to visit it in a dream once you're done!

I like your idea. I personally haven't visited Aika villager, but if you put your own flair on things, I'm sure it won't be too similar.
