im about to leave to go camping! woot! :gyroiddance:
i am so<big> excited</big>, i havent gone camping since i was like 9 yrs old
omg its been 10 years....

while im gone feel free to share some of ur camping expirences</big></big>
ill tell you mine when i come back!

i just got back a little while ago. and things didnt go as planned D:
when we got to the campsite (60 milers away from where i live) they didnt allow 4-wheelers so
they recommended another one but instead of going to that one we
called and asked another "better" campsite if we can use our 4-wheelers there
and they said <big>yes</big>...but when we go there , which was like 30 miles away from the first campsite, they told us we<big> could not</big> use the 4 wheelers >:[
so we check out 3 more campsites and finally one would let us use it but the place sucked! ):
so we ended up going back to the first campsite we stopped at. but sadly all the cabins and tent spots where full so we couldnt stay the night.
and we coulndt swim cuz it was cold. -.-
we basically just paid $24 to go in and cook fish....lol.

we traveled about 200 miles total for a 2 or 3 hour picnic lol

nd for 3 days my mom,dad,sister,nd i were going camping at a camp ground in the poconos (the place was callet Mount. Pocono but on the advertizement it looked like it said Aunt Pocono) so when we got there it was empty so we went into are very ghetto
trailer with leather couches from the 1970's nd so we went to sleep that night i slept in my moms room nd that whole night squirrles were throwing acorns at the trailer right were my mom was sleeping so she didnt sleep so well.the next day we decided to go fishing so when we got there it was a little muddy area that wehad to stand in nd it was on a slope so we couldnt go fishing so my mom nd my sis went home cuz my sis was sick so my dad nd i went hiking but there wasnt really anything to hike on (o i forgot ther was like no 1 at the camp ground) so the next day we went swimming in the dirty pool nd ppl came (my dad was jokeing around nd he called them zombies) .THE END

Have fun camping! My camping experience is hilarious, it happened last summer...

Okay so I go to summer camp for 2 weeks during the summer and we went camping on this mountain for 2 days. What we didn't know was that there was a thunderstorm/tornado warning for that night. Anyways, we got to the camping spot after hiking 2 miles to the top of this mountain and it started to rain. We quickly tied up a blue tarp over the fire place but it started to quickly DOWN POUR, and within minutes everyone was soaked. Imagine this: Me holding an umbrella over the fire pit while two boys are trying to start a fire while it's down pouring. Well we couldn't get the fire started so we ate cold pizza sauce with mozzarella on a pita. But wait it gets worse, our tent was in a foot deep water puddle. My sleeping bag was soaked so I was awake all night sleeping in a wet sleeping bag freezing to death while it is thundering and lightening outside like crazy. Next morning comes and finally the rain stopped but everything is SOAKED. As we are eating breakfast a huge tree falls like 50 feet from our camp, and that was the icing on the cake so we decided to leave a day early. Oh the memories...

oh yea i also hiked a little with my sister....it was tiresome lol.
