Yarn Yoshi Confirmed For Wii U

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has announced that they are busy developing a brand new Yoshi game for the Wii U. Iwata didn’t show off any video footage, but instead he showed a couple of screenshots that revealed a game with a similar style to Kirby’s Epic Yarn on Wii U. Iwata didn’t announce when we can expect the game, but it’s thought to be this year.

It looks pretty interesting. The Yoshi's Island art style is very fitting for the whole "yarn" thing. I kinda missed Yoshi.

However, it's even being developed by the same people who did Kirby's Epic Yarn. I would find myself, and I'm pretty sure others will be, comparing it to Epic Yarn. Even the same "beads" are seen in the preview. I'm honestly hoping it won't be too similar.

But then again, I don't really care because I don't have or plan to get a Wii U.

The game is visually nice and cute, but it just feels wrong to me because I know the style with Kirby...

And my opinion on this game thus far, is it looks adorable and I want it. Yoshi has a special place in my heart <3 Yoshi's Island was the first game I beat. I was like 4-5.
