Nintendo closed the WI-FI down for the DS and Wii because they want gamers to play there newer consoles such as Wii U and 3DS.Nintendo made a mistake to close WI-FI down because this will affect gamers who play Wii and DS games. Many favorite games on the Wii such as SSBB. will longer be as much fun without online.
