Should i get it for my new 3ds ive been wanting it since it came out but ya know other games were calling to me xD im debating on getting yo kai or xenoblade? idk

Do you have a Wii U? If yes get Xenoblade Chronicles X. If you do not have a Wii U get Yo Kai Watch for the 3DS. I mean Xenoblade Chronicles is cool but it is just a regular J RPG even though it looks innavative. Believe me it is not that innovative. The story is very generic as well, it is just: "hey let's go there! Oh no! There is an enemy blocking our path!" all the time. Non stop!

Get it for the Wii, better experience. And I loved xenoblade so I'm getting xenoblade X.

I say Xenoblade.

Yo Kai seems really disappointing from what I've seen/heard of it, though I'm only going off reviews and stuff so take that with a grain of salt. I've not gotten around to trying the demo yet.

Also, it's the Fantasy Life guys, so I'm a bit biased against it anyway since I thought Fantasy Life was a bit ****.

Get it for the Wii, better experience.

Depends how easily available it is. I had to look around to get it for a somewhat decent price in the UK, which from what I believe, is one of the places it's easier to find at a good price.

If you have a Wii U though it's on the eShop, so 'problem solved' if you're fine with digital copies.

Though yea it's a game I think just works better on a 'proper' console, though handheld would be fine if there was no alternative.

I have both the Wii and 3DS versions of Xenoblade Chronicles, but have only finished the 3DS version.

I'm still playing Yo-Kai Watch, though it seems a bit....lacking when you compare it to something like Xenoblade.

Definitely get Xenoblade Chronicles. It's a game everyone needs to experience at least once. Yo-Kai Watch is just another "Pokemon" title.

i haven't played xenobalde for the 3ds but having completed it for the wii i say to get that. i've played a lot of jrpg's and it's one of the best, it feels very refreshing from previous rpg genres and the combat system is really cool and easy to get into, sure the stories a little cheesy but unlike a million other games the characters don't make me want to stop playing

I know you've decided but definitely Xenoblade, fun game play, the story is great, so many twists a turns, plus the amount of content is insane.

I even have it for Wii and 3DS ^^.

Got it!

I think the digital version of the game is currently available in Europe. Nintendo of America haven't gotten around getting it to release.

Must be that because I double checked and I'm literally looking at Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii U EU eShop right now.

...Wii U EU is oddly satisfying to say.

When I complete a quest do I need to report back to the person?

Depends on the quest but most of the time, no.

That's the cool thing with Xenoblade. MOST quests do not require you to return to the quest giver. When you complete a quest that, let's say has you collecting 4 of a specific item, and you get the 4th one, a window pops up right then and there saying you completed it and shows you the reward. Click okay to "check off" the quest and receive the reward.

Now, note I said most quests, and not all. There are still a few that do require you to return to the quest giver, or another different NPC in order to progress and complete the quest.

I own the 3DS version of the game digitally, but seeing your pic of the cartridge makes me want to buy a physical copy just to show off on my shelf next to my Wii copy :)

I got the preowned copy since my mom didn't want to pay 6+ dollars,I'm currently grinding levels atm also.

I'm grinding levels and I'm confused.how do I damage xord,I'm level 26rn so Ima try to get to atleast 27-30 before the boss.

I personally own the 3DS and Wii copies of this masterpiece and I definitely recommend getting the Wii Version and be sure to play it with component cables for the most beautiful picture (or HDMI if you are using a Wii U [be sure to turn the setting in Wii Mode to HDTV mode]). Luckily for you, you can get a factory new Xenoblade Chronicles (for Wii) for under $50 on Amazon with Prime shipping. Even though it has a weird thing on the front of the cover with UAE, etc., it is a NTSC copy of the game with different labeling since the countries listed on the front use the same consoles we do (this particular release of the game is called the "World Edition").

At 27 or higher he's about as threatening as a kitten.

Its all about topple. He is immune to break except during chain attacks, so build the party gauge up, and your talent bar against the regular enemies, target Xord, and chain attack.

I did it this way:
Build gauge focusing on spawned mechon
When bar is full
*If you are using Shulk
switch to Xord
Initiate Chain attack >> Daze With Shulk - Topple with Reyn - Double Shot with Sharla
and, if you may still chain, back slash with Shulk
*If you are using Sharla (i.e. if you are at best one level over Xord's)
Switch to Xord
Initiate Chain Attack >> Daze with Sharla (if don't have it, double shot) - Daze with Shulk - Topple with Reyn
and, if you may still chain, attack with your best arts

If it still stands after that, rinse and repeat (spawn-build, xord-chain)
Use Sharla to heal (or, with Shulk, Monado arts to evade specials)
