Writing vs. Typing on a computer

I believe writing is obsolete and typing should be more widely used in schools. I would have a much easier time taking down notes in class, not to mention it would be much more organized.

Agreed. My hand-writing sucks. And the problem is, once you have a style, it's hard to change it and make it better.

I prefer typing because I write REALLY slow. However, when taking notes, I prefer the teachers to write on the board rather than using a projector and typing the notes on a computer. Sometimes it is easier to think when writing. As technology advances, I hope schools teach typing, but don't forget about writing.
