This is old news, they've been doing it for a while for virtual pets and even longer with special items you got from the Trading Card Game.

Tbh I don't see how they're "stealing" money, it's not like you're forced to buy them, it's nothing more than a cosmetic change. If people want to spend their money on them they shouldn't be judged for that.

I'd like to see how much money they've made from it though. In-game yesterday almost everyone was riding around on one.

As I said, you do not HAVE to buy stuff in-game with RL money.

This is a mount, it's nothing new, there's been mounts in-game before. The ONLY difference is how it looks. It offers no extra bonuses or anything, it's ONLY cosmetic.

If people want to spend their money on a cosmetic change, that's up to them, if they don't, well then they don't lose anything.

Honestly, you say WoW is expensive, if somebody can get all their gaming needs through WoW then it's much cheaper than buying a new Xbox game every month at

And Runescape isn't really comparable to WoW.

Further more, you say about WoW is alot to "blow" on... well, what about Xbox and Xbox Live?
Same concept here. It's alot of money for the service, and you aren't forced to buy it. (Just will need too to get the most out of it)

All games are really, POV would make one person say 'THIS GAME IS AWESOME' and another says 'Its a waste of money'. I personally say it DOES look awesome, i would want to get it, but i simply cant

So, if I'm reading it correctly, you are bothered by the fact that people are "wasting" more money than you?

The way I see it, you get what you pay for when it comes to games. Live might be paid, but its online functionality is like ten times superior than Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.You pay for DLC, which is extra content to give you extra tidbits of the story. In MMOs, you pay because servers can't maintain themselves, moderators, administrators and tech personnel don't conjure up money to feed themselves and their families, expansion packs aren't released magically either. In today's age, majority of the games aren't one-time deals anymore.
