You took advantage of my hospitality and stole all my bell trees. I'm honestly not surprised. I thought this would happen but I gave everyone there the benefit of the doubt and hosted inside Judys house so she would keep crafting for YOUR sake.

I'm not mad. I'm disappointed. You stole from a girl on her birthday and that speaks volumes about YOU. I won't ever host another event on Turnip exchange because you ruined this experience for me.

Anyone else want to commiserate with me and tell me how you were affected by rotten apples?

I haven't really been scammed, but I had a turnip exchange link that was public on their website that I also posted on here.
This one person came into my island, didn't say anything to me and kept stealing my fruit. I even caught them at one point and they just did the laughing emote.
I found out they were most likely from this website, but it really made me not want to host afterwards. Sure, it was just fruit, but I'm not sure what else they would have taken if I had things out and available.

I didn't because I couldn't 100 percent confirm it was them due to only remembering their in game name from when they were flying in and not their island name. The person I found had all negative feedback, but this was a while ago now.

I've hosted on turnip exchange twice, once privately for TBT members and once publicly on the TE platform. I had a great experience hosting for members here, and not so great hosting publicly (people were just a bit rude), but before I started allowing people in, I fenced off every area I wanted to be off limits, BUT I shouldn't even have to do that. What happened to you was incredibly disrespectful :c When I visit someone else's island to do a trade and they happen to drop an item next to a flower I'm sweating .-. I fear picking it... so, I don't know how someone can full on steal like that.

I really hope this doesn't ruin your celebration! There are a lot of things to be grateful for and just know that someday karma will get them back!
