Would you wear a wig?

I was flipping channels last night, and on one of the shopping channels they were selling some wigs. Several different styles and lots of colors. These weren't meant for women who are undergoing treatment (although, I'm sure they could be used in that way), but rather for people to wear as accessories.

It got me thinking, and I wondered if anyone here would/does wear wigs in that manner. The styles they had weren't terribly different from my haircut, but changing out color could be fun.

i'd wear wigs for lolita and cosplay. thats about it though. day to day probably not unless i had a medical condition or undergoing treatment yknow.

That was pretty much my thought, too. As I said, trying them on to see how different colors looked would be fun, but it would be too weird to have different haircuts from day to day. Besides, I worked too hard to get the fun streaks of color I currently have; I wouldn't want to cover them up.

I'd wear a wig for cosplay purposes, but I don't think I'd wear one as an everyday accessory.

I think it would be cool if you felt you had different personas. Or if you were gender-fluid and wanted to change things up. Like if you had shortish hair and wanted to have pretty long hair?

Personally I have very thick hair, one set of it is enough. Even hair extensions drive me mad. Though I'd love a bright red wig *-* like candy apple. Beautiful red without the damn maintenance.

Hmm, Besides a cosplay or losing my hair to Chemo/ other reasons I wouldn't wear a wig as a everyday thing.
At most I would try hair extensions to give myself a cute hairstyle or have different colored highlights etc, but I have terribly fluffy curly hair so unless I straighten my hair everyday Hair extensions aren't much of a help with me - sigh- my dreams xD
I wore a wig to the store 1 or 2 times when my hair was super unmanageable/ to lazy to do anything. But, only during the colder months because I could wear a jacket with a wig so it comes our natural ;o;

I see nothing wrong with wearing wigs. Whether you are undergoing treatment, or you wear them to look fab.
Anything you do is for yourself only. So if wearing wigs makes you feel like a majestical fairy princess and you want to feel that way every day, so be it!

Id like to try on different styles of wigs, but other than that, I wouldn't wear one, even if I lost my hair to chemo...I'd scarf it.
