would you use gyroids if they came to NH?

I never really used them before, so I can’t say whether or not I like them. I actually don’t mind digging them up, but I will agree with a couple of other people, they can be a little annoying to dig up sometimes.

Lol, no. They're ugly looking and they serve no purpose IMO. Some are even creepy. So hmm, maybe I'd use some creepy ones as Halloween decorations? But other than that, I'd never use them.

I remember I rented out the rooms upstairs in the museum just for gyroids in New Leaf. I thought they were cute and with the decoration capabilities of New Horizons, you could easily make funny displays with them. For example you could make a boxing arena with the 4 boxing squares and put randomized gyroids (for diversity) around the boxing ring to make it look like a boxing match. That would be cool, especially if you threw down a few speakers and whatnot.

I do agree with them being annoying however. Maybe you could have a new NPC who would give you a gyroid by some method - say, you shook a tree and an acorn fell out, he’d appear and ask if he could have that acorn, and in turn leave a gyroid in your inventory. It would be a once a day thing and would work pretty much like Pascal does.

I would use a couple to decorate. Especially if I had Coco. She would need a gyroids yard. But I would mostly love it if we could donate them in a gyroids exhibit in the museum. Bonus points if it is curated by Brewster and that was the deal he made with Blathers to come to the island.

Honestly not the biggest fan of gyroids. I find them a bit creepy in fact lol So I probably would only want to use the brewster ones if they do get incorporated into NH someday. but then, again, we don't even have Brewster or his cafe introduced yet...

Ah! You've reignited my love for a specific gyroid. The bovine ones! I miss those ones specifically! I loved the little moos they made. I could definitely use them around my island because I play with a lot of color. The bowtie ones were cute also. I love some pink. Can't remember the rest but I'd love to have them back. Its very animal crossing and weird.

I like the idea someone had that brewster would sell them to us. He liked and collected them so it would be cool is he not only ran a happening coffee shop but also sold oddities on the said like gyroides. I liked them and the sounds they made. If I didn't like the sound but the style, I would just use them for decoration with them switched off. I think they would be wonderful additions to have outside. Maybe just 1 set of 4 or 3 with the ability to customize the colors and that be it.

Ones with creepy sounds and the movements they make would be extremely cute for halloween.

big nope. i only ever had them for collecting in NL- but that was because they were there, i'd rather not have to deal with them. i'd also donate them to club lol, but we don't have that in NH soooooo

In previous AC games, I used to collect them and hoard them in my basement (My favorites were the howloids! XD). I would love for them to return because I think their presence and the sounds they make would be perfect for horror based islands. But I would like some kind of special inventory space dedicated for them just because of the limited space we do have currently.

Probably not; I never liked them except for the Brewster gyroids. I may use the Brewster ones or if there are any that are made to look like the npcs. I do have an idea that I might try though inspite my dislike for them.

I've never liked them and remember ducking past the ones that were outside your house in ACGC. The only ones I ever kept were the Brewstoids, and they were relegated to Club LOL (which meant I didn't see them often).

Yes but more so for ambient noise as opposed to decor.
I would most likely hide them behind trees and stuff where you can't actually see them.​

They are a chore like most things in the game.
