Let's just say you work a hypothetical 9-5 day, Monday-Friday. Would you rather work half the hours or work for double the pay?

Double the pay, no doubt about it. I don't enjoy my job by any means but it allows me to live a very comfortable life, and that would certainly be supplemented by a 100% salary increase.

Double the pay. Pay off school loans, car loan, etc. early. Possibly retire early.

Depends on how many extra hours there were. I think there's an extent. If it's worth the deal and I wouldn't reach the point of exhaustion from overworking myself, then sure. If not, I'd work half the hours tbh lmao. It's important to have leisure time.
