Would you ever give a villager you disliked a chance?

I'm curious as to whether or not anyone out there would ever let a villager they really detested stay in their town and try to learn to like them.

I've always thought it'd be interesting to get something like "reverse dreamies", like intentionally trying to get all the worst villagers you can think of haha.

I disliked prince for a bit, but he eventually grew on me. Still chucked him out for stitches though.

I really didn't think much of Savannah at first but my girlfriend wanted me to take her because she was in boxes so I decided to accept her and when she moved in she started to grow on me

Nah, Truffles can eat it. The only thing she is good for is that she can be mutilated into bacon and she even give bacon a bad name smh.

I would. No matter how much I dislike the villager, I wouldn't go out of my way to TT them out because I would probably find out that I may like them in the end.

I plan the themes of my towns and pick villagers according to the theme and I often end up taking villagers that I don't adore. I don't take villagers I despise though, only those I'm indifferent to, but I do end up getting attached to them.

I think taking the few villagers I hate would honestly be a waste of space considering that I could have gotten one of the many I love.

Some villagers that I have disliked I've ended up giving a second chance in my other towns namely, Canberra, Ribbot, Tiffany, and Jay. After having them for a while they ended up becoming some of my favorites. If any villager that I dislike moves into any of my other towns in a good spot I'll give them a chance.

Detested? No, probably not. If I really hate them, I'm just waiting for them to leave. But I also didn't start Feldspar with "dreamies," so I gave everyone who moved into my town a chance. 5 of my 10 permanent villagers were random move-ins from the early months of owning the game, before I ever got any villagers online. I give all villagers a chance to grow on me, but if a villager I dislike pings to move, I'll say yes every time.

I disliked Hazel a bit, and now I have her living in my town. I'm still not too fond of her, considering I hardly ever see her and she's not exactly the nicest personality-wise, but it's only been a couple weeks.

Aw, I love Hazel! She is SO CUTE. I adopted her for one of my towns and I'm really into her.

As for disliked villagers, I've tried giving most of them a chance, but it didn't work 100% of the time after I had the idea of getting "dreamies" but prior to that...

in my first game, I did end up totally loving 2 of the original villagers that I disliked. Beardo and Diana.

Which is interesting because Diana is like top tier 1 and I didn't really like her at first. She is my favorite now.

Beardo won me over and when I accidentally lost him, I kind of got obsessed and made the whole town themed after him. Then I bought a new game just so I could get him to move there instead of cycling 16 because it was taking too long.

Also, Bella.

Bella is amazing. She isn't living in any my towns right now but I might move her in because I miss her.

Typically, no. But when Poncho was moving in, I thought 'who the **** is Poncho?' then when I first saw him it was like, okay you're kinda cool, but I have dreamies to make room for so you gotta go. After TTing a bunch to breed blue roses, others moved in and out, and Poncho pinged me to ask about a police station. I noticed he was pretty adorable. Then he called me "lil' bear" which overloaded me with feels, and now I'm replacing a dreamie with him. <3

But normally, absolutely not.

It depends. If they randomly decided to plop their house down right in the middle of my paths, they're dead to me.

Merry, I feel in love with her and now her and Lolly are BESTIES! I was going move her out(she was one my starters) But I just love her now!

No. I basically choose my villagers based on looks, so if I don't find them appealing, I don't want them to live in my town.
