I could never do the cycle. I've had 44 villagers since I started 3 years ago and getting new villagers helps keep the game fresh. But I honestly don't know what I would do if Savannah or Gaston moved away. T-T

I wouldn't do it.

Theres too many risks like losing a villager on accident, forgetting to plot reset, etc.
I would just find a gap villager

I'm in the middle of doing it for Merengue and Diana, but I decided to stop because I already have all of my dreamies. Although if Chief decides to move I'll let him, and try to get one of the two back (or Marshal, but he's a kind of a lost hope).

It really depends on the villager tbh. Some of my dreamies plotted in somewhat bad places but that was before I knew about plot resetting. I wouldn't want them to move out so I would just try to work with the best I could. I usually set up a lot of temporary PWPs in places I absolutely can't have them in like in front of my bridges. Part of the challenge with the game is working with its imperfections.

If Stitches moved out, I might consider doing the 16 cycle to get him back. But then again, I have a second town so I could have him move there. idk though, tough to say.

I wouldn't, but maybe I would consider it for Fauna (if she were ever to move out) as she is my favorite. However, I would NEVER do it just because of messed up plotting. It's too much work to go through for that, I'd rather rework my town around a villager I love than kick them out and do the cycle, or even kick them out and replace them.

In fact, it happened for me with Penelope (though she wasn't one of my dreamies, I just saw her in the campsite and really liked her). I didn't understand at that point how to do the plot reset trick and I messed it up and she moved in permanently right next to my house, but not lined up with it (her house was lower down). I was mad at first, but then decided to just rework my paths and flowers and now I'm happy with where her house is.

depends on in which town and which ones are my dreamies. when i was starting up my all frog town i was ok with maybe having to do the cycle to get theright villagers. i recently lost gigi but since i had all my other dreamies and my landscaping was starting to be worked on i was like Nope and replaced her w jambette...

I've done it one time & I don't think I'll ever do it again. Not worth it in my opinion.

Nope, I can't be bothered going through the 16-villager cycle. If I mess up with plot resetting, then I just move them out and choose another villager that I like.

That's what I'm doing with Pashmina. I messed up with plot resetting her and now I'm going to move her out to replace her with Agnes.

that sounds tiring. i rather not do it, if i lose a villager i lose em, i don't care too much about dreamies and stuff atm.
