I never played the originals, I started with LeafGreen, so if they charged a reasonable price for them, I'd maybe get one of them. The thing is though, I already have two cartridges of LG, so if I ever feel like playing through Kanto again, I can just use of them. I'm not really interested in glitching, either.

i like to play old games for that nostalgia feeling plus when i did play pokemon red and blue i ws like 7 yrs old and i sucked XD lol so i would like to go back and replay it again where i actually know what im doing

If there were a way to transfer the Pokemon to the recent games, then I would definitely get them.

That's probably the reason they aren't going to bring the GC titles to Virtual Console. It'd be really difficult to convert the data to the recent games.

Yea it would be great if they could do that.

Also it would be nice if they could bring Pok?mon Crystal, Gold and Silver to it as well. I miss playing those games :(.

Yeah, but I wouldn't play on it. I mean if they added the ability to trade pokemon between games, yeah, that was the selling point of the game, "catching 'em all"
But I don't think that'd be possible. I would be interested in a 3D Kanto of course, but Kanto's been remade before and Hoenn's next in line.

I would play it. I started with Gen III, but I like all of the generations of Pokemon. :) I have a cartridge version of Blue which I occasionally play on my GBA, but it's old and freezes a lot, so I would love a version on the 3DS that doesn't do that! And emulators are NOT on option for me. I hate playing any games that aren't handheld...,
