No. Partly since I still have red/yellow and they work OK, and partly since the new ones are waaay better.

I would buy it, but I might not play it much. Still working on Diamond and Emerald. :)

I think I will. My team will be: Charizard, Cloyster, Nidoking, Exeggutor, Electrode, and Kangaskhan or Tauros. Not sure what version I should get. Maybe blue.

I still have my old Game Boy, so no. Heh. Then again, it would probably be fun to have the ability to record and upload a playthrough of it to YouTube.

Rock Tunnel and Silph Co. surely wouldn't be as bad now as they were when I was a kiddo.

Really the old GBC games look so lame after playing modern games that I'm not sure I could go back. I barely play the free virtual console games they gave me, mainly just the GBA ones. Furthermore, there is FireRed/LeafGreen.

Not really since I can kind of easily get them on cartridge anyways. Plus I have Blue and Green already.

I'd love to, but honestly they should just remake it like HG/SS, but still sell it at a cheap price.

Didn't they remake it in FireRed/LeafGreen?

Anyways, I would, definitely because Missing No. was probably the best thing that ever existed. Along with some of the more complicated Pok?mon glitches... Who remembers making a flying Kangaskhan?

Oh hell yeah! I don't even care trying to complete the Pokedex. Just the nostalgia is good enough

Yeh, you can just use tape if you don't have a solder iron. Works just as well cos once the cartridge is shut again, it holds it anyway.

Good luck if you try it ^_^.

So yesterday I actually did do this with Gold, checked it saved and it did, merrily played away last night with my Totodile, and this morning my save is gone. <_<; IDE! Not sure if there just wasn't good contact with the battery (one side of the battery isn't flat weirdly and it happens to be the side which I made a bit of a crinkled mess of the connector) or if the game is just perma damaged but not very happy considering it saved and reloaded fine twice yesterday, but didn't keep overnight.

On a small upside though, my Blue version still has a working battery. =]

They remade Blue and Red as Fire Red and Leaf Green. |: Why on earth would I want to buy and play the broken as heck original versions? With the crazy wonky sprites? For Nostalgia? Meeeeh.

I still have blue, Fire Red, AND Leaf green. Now, if they remade it and added features to make it a totally new game with the graphics and feel of black and white... I'd buy that. But I don't want to play the originals any time soon.

I still like to play Blue after all those years, but I don't think I would buy it since I can already play it on either my Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance or Game Boy Player.
