Would Kiki fit into my town?

I want my town to have a seaside feel to it. For this reason, other than a spot I'm saving for another dreamie, I was thinking of moving out two of the villagers I like the least and replace them with villagers like Del (due to his pirate-like house).

However, Kiki just arrived at my campsite and she's too cute! I can't resist getting her. Do you think she'd fit the theme? I already have another cat villager (Katt) so I'm not sure, but I don't mind repeating species. I already have a Normal villager, too, and Normal seems like the most repetitive personality (and the other Normal villager is not on my list to get rid of soon). I don't really know. What do you think? I know it's ultimately up to me but I'd like to hear some opinions!

Have you watched Kiki's Delivery Service? If you have, the name alone should keep bringing up seaside imagery.

Thanks! Both of you have very good points. And Kiki's Delivery Service is pretty much the reason why I thought she'd fit in with the theme, since I loved the seaside scenery in that movie.

When I was a kid,I read a book called "Jenny Goes To Sea" which was about a black cat that goes on a voyage with her cat friends,so Kiki reminds me of that.I also got my Kiki from the campsite.And actually,Del has more of a science fiction themed house.He does have the wooden plank floor but he has a lot of robo furniture and a couple of oil drums.I believe Rod the jock mouse has a pirate themed house.

That's disappointing to hear. I don't like Jocks that much so I was just planning on keeping one. Hm. Do you know where I can find pcitures of Rod's house in ACNL? Most of the ones I've found are from the older games.

I'll look into those books! Even if they end up being too childish for me I can always give them to my little cousin or something.

Also, an update on Kiki... she ended up plotting in a place that isn't very practical but looks kind of awesome, she plotted on the cliff on my town (but with enough room for me to build a lighthouse there eventually). Thanks so much to everyone who encouraged me to get her, I love her already!

Thank you, it looks great! I'd probably tweak it a bit to make it more nautical but I really like it! I'll definitely try to get him for my town now.
