Is it going to bother you indefinitely if you don’t restart? That’s the most important internal dialogue to have since the game is supposed to be enjoyable and fun.

I restarted with a four star island because I hated literally everything about my island except the name. I love it so much more now, I realized though that if you’re thinking of doing it you just have to take the plunge and get started.

No ones gonna kill you. lol. It’s your island so it’s really up to you. If it bothers you so much that you’re ashamed of it and would never wanna play in it better then go and restart. If it’s not that much of a big deal though, then don’t. There’s a lot of progress you’ll lose in the DIY, creature department if you’ve been playing since launch day.
