Would it be a good idea to chop all trees and only grow perfect fruit?

I'm tempted to stockpile all sorts of perfect fruit for a while, and then chopping down EVERY tree in my town and growing only perfect fruits of all types. I mean, at this point in the game, normal fruit isn't valuable enough to continue growing, really. And villagers like perfect fruit better to begin with.

Pros: Higher quality fruit, more money, look better IMO, villagers like them more
Cons: Die after some harvests, so I'll need to replant often. (Any more? Can't think of more TBH...)

So, what do you guys think? Would it be a good idea?

Yeah really there's no harm done by it. I did it with my old town hehe.

You can't grow perfect fruit of all types, only your native fruit will grow perfectly. But it would be a good idea, you could get loads of bells from it.

I actually think it'd be cool. I plan to have perfect peaches or apples lining my paths, as I think they look really pretty, but on the outside of my paths there'll be rows and rows of perfect trees. Lots of income, even from my own town, as the fruit most likely won't be native.

Oh, really? D: I thought it was just you could only have that random chance of getting a perfect fruit from a normal tree of your type, but you could grow others. I guess not, then, but I'll still have a ton of perfect pears!

Yeah, I think it's a good idea, if you don't mind planting every now and then.

Wait, what

You can only grow perfect fruit trees of your town's native fruit. If you plant a perfect apple in a peach town, you'll get a normal apple tree.

I thought you can only grow your native fruit for perfect, while the others turn normal if you try planting the perfect versions.

Something to keep in mind is that your villagers can ask for fruit not native to your town, so if you only had one specific fruit type then you would have to either find somebody online who can give you the fruit just for that purpose, or you would have to turn down the villager's request.

Not a major issue but depends on how you take it.

Yes also all the planting and chopping down would take too long IMO. But if you really don't mind then go for it!

I planted one of each type of tree around my Plaza, and I am working on planting perfect cherries everywhere else. this way I have any fruit the villagers may ask for or if I change my mind easy access to get new fruit trees.

i know from experience you can only grow native perfect fruit, my perfect cherries turned into normal ones when I planted them.

I did, however, replace every apple tree with a perfect apple tree. it looks p nice. villagers never ask specifically for regular fruit, so theres no harm done in doing it.
