worth remaking my island??

strongly considering remaking my island. partially to change my characters name (i go by fig instead of bug now) and partially bc i wanna go with either a cottagecore or fantasy/rpg theme and “peachpit” is too cutesy. i was thinking either fig newton or clover!!!
problem is, im pretty far in and have one of my dreamies already. but i time-travel anyways and if i stockpile materials and tools before remaking it’ll go really quickly. also, i could save all my items and plants and stuff on my bfs island while i remake, so thats not an issue.
what do you guys think??? also, please show me your cottagecore and medieval/fantasy islands!!! i need inspo

i think as long as you really want to do it and you have someone who can hold your stuff/villagers, you should go for it!

i say remake if it'll make you happy! you can always have someone hold onto your dreamie and items aren't an issue. i restarted my island because of a name change too; i was nervous about losing a lot of progress but i don't regret restarting at all and i'm a lot happier with my island since i know what i want to do and how to manage it better since i've already been through it once!

Considering you only have 1 dreamie and you can't change your island name or your name unless you use a nickname, I would say change it!

leaning towards fantasy, cottagecore is really cool but a bit overdone imo
