Out of all of the Pokemon, which one do you think is the worst to use in a battle, based on stats, moves, and abilities?

In my opinion, I would say it's Delibird. Its base stats are horrible. Even its best stat, which is speed, is below the 80 mark. It can only learn two moves by just leveling up, one of them being a gamble that could benefit the opponent. The moves it can learn by breeding, TMs, and move tutors, there are better Pokemon for that. Its abilities, are all either a variation of the same ability (which just prevents sleeping) or lowers the accuracy. The type combination, bad too. Its Ice-type resistance is nullified by its Flying type combination, while it has a double weakness to Rock (which is bery powerful and commonly used). One Power Gem or Stone Edge against it will send it to its grave. But Delibird is not completely bad, it's just that it is useless for battle.

I wouldn't say Magikarp because even if it only knows two moves (sometimes three), it can be more powerful than any legendary pokemon if put under the correct conditions. It's not even the worst water Pokemon.

Unown is atrocious, and not the Gyarados kind of atrocious where you're reducing cities to rubble. The kind where you're absolutely useless.

Does Cosmog count? Without evolving it, it cannot do any damage to the opponent unless it uses Struggle. I'm pretty sure it's not even intended to be used in battles before evolving it.

A tie between Luvdisc and Beautifly

Cosmog can literally do nothing in battle so I'd say Cosmog. Delibird can at least set up spikes and destiny bond with a focus sash, or be offensive with Hustle and ice shard, ice punch, etc. It's bad but at least can be used to do something in low tiers of competitive smogon play. Pretty much most mons (even unown) can at least do SOME form of damage to an opponent. Cosmog is literally worthless cuz it can only splash and teleport. No damage, no entry hazards, nothing.

I would have to agree with everyone saying Cosmog because all of the other bad Pokemon can at least do something - hazards, focus sash + destiny bond/endeavor, a (weak) attack... they're not worth a party spot, but if we're looking for the worst of the worst, being able to do something excludes them. As of right now, it's impossible for Cosmog to do anything besides just sit there and waste the opponent's PP, which it won't even do well because its defenses are abysmal. Realistically, it's set-up fodder.

I don't really like including pre-evolutions. I get that it's asking for individual pokemon and not evolutionary lines but I'm sticking with Unown since it will never be good.

Why not? Little Cup is a thing in the Smogon/Showdown community, and certain NFE 'mons like Porygon-2 and Chansey are competitively viable while holding Eviolite.

I rather have Unown over Luvdisk though. My opinion? Luvdisk is the worst thing to use in competitions.

It turns out almost everybody says Unown, so i looked it up and saw the truth. Can learn only fewer moves than Magikarp could ever learn, and has very low base stats. But I do like its ability (levitate), but that's only good for Fire, Electric, Poison, Rock, and Steel Pokemon.

But here is the good thing about the unown though. Opponent will never know the typing of its hidden power. So you can play with their mind. XD

Somebody actually made a series of Youtube videos known as EPIC UNOWN SWEEP, where one Unown beats every Pokemon. This guy was also the same guy who made the Magikarp Sweeps and the Hacked Pokemon videos. He does put a lot of care into the weaker Pokemon and make them look better.

You mean Pimpnite? That's old, but good reference.

But again, reason I rather have Unown over Luvdisk. While Magikarp only knows 3 moves, and Unown only has one, Luvdisk has good speed. But can't do damage with any attack. Heck, magiark at least can evolve. Unown has a much better damage output with poor speed. Give it Assault vest and Unown can take some damage from some Sp. attackers, I guess. Luvdisk stays stuck at base sp. attack of 40. Attack is only 30. I guess maybe as a tank it can work better than an offensive Luvdisk. But to me, Luvdisk is the worst.

swift swim luvdisc +3, +4 in attack or sp. attack can do substantial damage in lower tiers. Problem is luvdisc can't set up for **** and thus needs its boosts baton passed in.

Luvdisc is better because it actually has a movepool and you can do stuff with it (get confuse hax, flinch with heart stamp, lower attack with charm, or put an opposing mon to sleep, etc.) Unown literally only has one attack.

Unown is second only to cosmog in terms of uselessness imo

It's kinda funny that the worst ones for competition don't have very bad abilities while those who have the worst abilities usually have good stats. But a combo of bad moves, bad abilities, and bad stats makes the pokemon really bad for competition.
