 What do you think the worst feature in Animal Crossing: New Leaf is?

I absolutely loathe being able to streetpass random people's trashy villagers. My sister and I sometimes visit each other's towns, but also streetpass in the process. There have been many situations where we both accidentally exchange our junk villagers between each other. The worst part? Streetpass villagers will move in even if you only have nine villagers, whereas the tenth slot is supposed to be reserved until you ASK a villager (such as a camper) to move in.
We both disabled streetpass for New Leaf after that and we never wish to turn it back on.

I don't like that villagers can move out without asking or telling you first. I think it would be so much better (for so many people) if they had to ask the mayor before leaving.

I agree with all the villager things it's super annoying.

and then that u cant have darker skin unless u tan like wtf i have to be pale af almost the whole year... ok then...

Villagers displaying shirts in their homes.

THIS. Like, dude, I sent you that shirt so you could WEAR it, not so you could mock me by placing it in your home? What are you even going to do with it just sitting there?

I really loathe the pattern placing system that the game has. There have been times where I'd be standing right in front of an empty square, but because my mayor would be facing slightly diagonal, the pattern would go somewhere way off from where I want it. It's a tedious system as well. Then again, I don't think the creators intended for us to use so much pathing with the patterns, but still.

There's also the fact that you can spend days talking to all your villagers and walking in front of them and there's still a chance that you won't get either a ping nor a statement from another villager about someone moving. It's never happened to me, but that's scary.

the way the villagers can move where ever they please,

I liked it a lot better when their were post signs, and the villagers would move there more likely then randomly

now im scared they are just gonna move on my rare flowers

I agree with the random move ins and unexpected move outs

Public work projects and how finnicky they can be to place. I wish we could place things next to each other or at least closer. This new idea to new leaf was badly done since the fact that more than half of the time...youcant actually place something where you want!

villagers moving in randomly where they want

some of the stupid spacing limitations of pwp's

not being able to have nice bush hedges because of the 12 in a row limit. (This has ruined some otherwise great ideas for landscaping)

Not so much of a feature but more of a minor complaint, those stupid Someone from Anytown designs that villagers keep wearing and won't take off just remove default designs from Able sisters next game they're so horrible.

but villagers aren't supposed to be traded around like freshly cut diamonds

I love that feature because it expands the game. It makes more villagers interesting and gives them an actual history which you're able to see snippets of when you form a closer relationship with them.

I think trading around villagers and complaining when you get one that you don't like the look of isn't how Nintendo intended you to play the game.

I think some people forget that this game is meant to be played casually, not religiously.

a feature that I dislike: I don't like how easy it is to get rid of villagers. I wished that they had made them a bit more permanent, so that when a new animal moves into your town it actually feels like your town has somewhat changed.

When villagers move out randomly without your permission. I have lost so many villagers that I love by time travelling too much or not going on after a period of time.

That villagers can move in from other people's void. I understand that you can get the ocassional villager that you like, but most of the time, you get villagers that you don't want or like. Just today, Cherry moved in from someone's void. I previously had her and didn't like her. She want through the 16 villager cycle and now I have her again.

Animals are still telling me how to do simple game mechanics, after having the game for 2 years without ever resetting. I can switch tools quickly with the D-pad? Wow!

Streetpassing villagers.

It's such a shame because the Happy Home Showcase is such a great feature. But the fact that villagers can randomly move in at any point in time just because you have space and streetpassed someone really makes me fearful of using that feature.

The lack of qr code space...

I personally have a pattern that requires about 14 pieces in total, so I have to make a "mule" account to carry the remaining 4 pieces... This takes away from the whole look of my town by having some shaggy, unappealing house located in an inconvenient location.

I just wish that when you "Stored" a qr code, it didnt remove it from the ground :\

Villagers displaying shirts in their homes.

Definitely this. I hate how they display the shirts instead of wearing it when I send it to them. Or when they decide to wear the shirt and also somehow put it on display in their house?!?!?!? It's super frustrating because it's so ugly and then it replaces a piece of furniture by accident.

I hate how my villagers won't change into anything I give them, but they'll wear the ugly sucky shirt for ages....
