Animal Crossing's dialogue has always been one of its key features, and I have a strong feeling it isn't going to change. They have very large teams dedicated to translating. I recently read that New Leaf has more dialogue than the Bible, and more than all the Harry Potter books combined. Source

i love this. they've already strengthened the social parts and so now they're improving on the other aspects of the game. brilliant.
