Won't let me visit towns. Help

The wifi says something like "cannot connect to the other player" and doesn't let me visit any towns.
Need help plz I want to be able to trade

You might just have a bad Internet connection.

Probably because you have bad connection, check to make sure that you have the right password for your wifi.

I was one of her visits yesterday, she got kicked out by error message. Happened to another of my visitors before her, so probably we are both having internet issues

Sounds like it. Whenever I play with one of my friends we always manage to get a Resetti, and it's only when I play with him. And he insists he doesn't have internet issues.

check your internet settings in System Settings. make sure your internet connection information is up-to-date and correct, and run a connection test. if it doesn’t connect, fix the connection info or use the WPS push-button connection (WPS has worked very well for me!).

if it still doesn’t work, reset your router, or if it’s old and you know you need an upgrade get a new one.

if your wifi is alright, it might just be the other player you’re trying to connect with. tell them to check their wifi first and then see if it works.
