For those like me who've StreetPassed themselves (or their friends often) you know that the items you receive can't be cataloged, but can be ordered out of people's houses in the Happy Home Showcase- weird, huh? So, I've wondered if that's how new furniture will be handled using the cards, or if they'll update the catalog itself. The reason is because in year 4 (June 2016 - June 2017) my goal is for a 100% catalog, but I won't be able to achieve that if they keep adding to it! LOL

Hopefully it's like the StreetPass items where they're furniture and such that aren't cataloged. But if they are, I'm going to have to update it, and start scanning a ton cards to order loads of new furniture added. This has made me think that since I now have a second Japanese copy (first was digital second is physical), and since Japan gets the update first, I may "test the waters" with the Japanese physical, see if I like it, then update my NA one. I'm a bit timid because the LAST thing I want is for this update to start bricking games (I know, I know, I updated the two Japanese ones to version 1.1 and neither bricked, but still, can't be too cautious you know). I've put over 3,000 hours into this NA game alone, all those little villagers have become my virtual friends, that's why I have to keep all 10 while still playing daily, so all 5 HAVE to alert me just to make sure none of them gives a moving tag before I can call it a day! ;)

The other thing that's going to bite if it is a new expanded catalog is that I'm going to have to start using these cards. I've only collected them, I've never used them, just because I want them to be protected. I usually take them out of their package, put them inside the folder, and if one is already there, into another folder set to be traded/sold. I've got a little apprehension toward this, I want the furniture, don't want to use the cards, and am not exactly thrilled I'm going to have to collect again, it was hard enough getting the 406 as it was. That's beside the point, so I digress...
