Wolf Link amiibo

I read somewhere that the Wolf Link amiibo offers all of the LoZ characters, but..

I've scanned him in three times and only Wolf Link comes up?

where you read this? every amiibo has only a single character associated to it
to have the other legend of zelda characters you should purchase all the amiibo linked to them

Uhh...no. Link and Zelda both scan in W. Link, Ganondorf is Ganon, Sheik is Epona, and Toon Link is Medli.

Can't use a single Amiibo for multiple different villagers.
