Actually, most of this thread sums up my thoughts when I was that update. They're actually trying to make RuneScape good, or at least better. I've not played in a year or so, but I may have to log in just to see what it's like.

Are the idiots still everywhere, or is the player base actually maturing some?

Nah, idiots still everywhere. I got like... 3 people that came up to me today saying "You're hot".

umm, as a runescaper player, I know for a FACT that u wont get banned for wildy-noob-tricking.

oh, and btw, how awesome is lootshare, except it doesnt work...
...unless BOTH people need to turn it on...

Runescape was fun while it lasted, but it's just not fun now.

1. the fighting is dreadful, no animations, just pictures going back and forth, and not even any skills to use unless you're a mage, but it takes runes, which makes it suck because then you have to be rich to be a mage.

2. it's too much about smithing/woodcutting then sitting in the bank and saying
":wavy:Selling random useless crap 60K!" for hours, rather than the fighting, leveling up

3. No clan systems. 'nuff said.

1. The animation may suck, but there is animation.

2. It depends on who you associate with. That's what keeps most people from playing. They don't play with the right people. Some people enjoy woodcutting, so that's what they do.

3. I assume you haven't played within the last month then.
