Withdrawal symptoms!!

So my 3DS is STILL in the game repair shop, and I have yet to receive a call telling me its ready. I'm highly concerned that it may be broken or that the people there are just slacking off, because when I tried to call them today I got no response. It will be a week tomorrow since I gave it in.

My main NL town Foxbelle is on there, and if my 3DS is broken, then it's bye-bye to everything on my SD card. Not only that, but it's REALLY hard for me not to crave playing normally again! I have all my dreamies for that town held in my cycling town, and have been changing their catchphrases and greetings to coincide with my town's theme, got them in my designs, yada-yada-yada but it's STRESSING ME OUT. I just want to play like normal again, AC isn't supposed to be stressful!

Good news is that when (and if) I get my 3DS back, my town Rosseau will be a cycling town. Now I can help people get their dreamies ^_^

Aw, I'm sorry about your 3DS. Repair shops can be such a pain sometimes. I remember when something was wrong with my Wii, we went to a store in town and asked if they could fix it. It ended up taking a week, and they still didn't fix it! My mom and dad let me buy another Wii though, so it did work out in the end. Best of luck to you, you probably have a better place than we did!

... why would it be gone if your 3DS is broken?
I mean, I've transferred all my files to an upgraded 32GB SD card just fine... so I don't see why wouldn't be able to still have the files once you get the card back?

But did they give you an estimated fix date?

Because I need this 3DS in order to do a data transfer, or else I can't do anything with the data. Unless I find a method, which I am currently not aware of.

Thank you I took it to a gamerdoc and they get rave reviews but I just wish they would give me some updates... since they aren't responding to my calls I may just go in and ask them directly tomorrow.

Sorry, I have had similar issues a few years back, so I know how stressful it can be I do think going in is a good idea, sometimes putting a face to the work order speeds things along. I find that if I go in and be friendly but persistent they get things done usually, maybe just so they don't have to hear me chattering away like a cartoon squirrel anymore

Aha so true. I bet one of my villagers has moved out by now... as long as it's not Lolly, Sterling or Walker! Lolly and Sterling are dreamies and I'm holding Walker for someone. Agh I just wish this didn't happen... i literally turned it on last week and the screen was just black.
