Wisteria Trellis or Streetlamp?

I can't decide whether to place a big wisteria trellis in front of my house with a mini dirt path that leads under it to my door, or put two streetlamps on each side of my house and surround it with bushes/flowers. Opinions?

i'd do the two streetlamps. it'd definitely look great with the bushes and flowers around it. (the wisteria trellis is beautiful, but in my opinion, i think it looks better on its own rather than a decoration in front of something.)

Thanks for your input! I think I will do this, since I noticed the streetlights match my house theme more.

I think the wisteria trellis in front of your door would look nice. You should still surround your house with bushes and flowers though

bushes and hybrids and a fountain. its what I did and looks amazing. I tried to do the trellis and it never centered up making it looked awful. but fountain with surrounding bushes and hybrids looked amazing. Here is my dream address if you want to give it a look:

I tried street lights too. It just didn't work, they were off centered as well

I always put streetlamps in front of my mayors' houses and either streetlamps or fountains in front of town halls.. The trellis blocks your house too much.

Street lamps. I love the trellis, but it's size is kind of odd so it will likely be off center if you put it in front of your house (I could be wrong though. The trellis is three squares wide itself).

I'd go with two streetlamps. I agree with previous posters that a wisteria trellis would block the view of your home too much.

Why can't we have both? I have a wisteria trellis in front of mine and plan to put the ancient statues on either side
