I wonder what he gives out if he is back? Just weed removal? I hope he doesnt even do that, they should've given him a ghost furniture set he gives out or something. That'd be nice.

In the Gamecube version, when I asked him for furniture instead of weed removal, he gave an umbrella.


Yes, an umbrella. But it was always fun finding the spirits!

I actually like the weed pulling idea. When i didnt play for a while on the gamecube version, then i came back to it, i would always pull out the weeds witth wisp. Its useful. Im not going to use a guide though. I did for the gamecube. Now, i want to feel like its more like my character, and i experience things from my character, not 'some elders knowlage' AKA the guide. 'Life is like a box of chockolate, you never know what you gonna' get' Quote from Forrest Gump. Gawd i loved that movie. But my point is, i wanna play CF like that. If Wisp exists or not, its up to me to find out

yes he is back, someone wrote on the forums that you know if he is around cause you can here a bell ring between, 12am - till something 3 or 4 am I think

Assuming its similar to the gamecube version, he isnt around every night.

Wisp was a ghost that would appear randomly on the gamecube version in the middle of the night and he asks you to catch five spirits aorund town with your bug net if you can complete by 4 AM he will pull all of your weeds, paint your roof, or give you some random item

I bought the City Folk strategy guide and Wisp is listed as a visitor, but it doesn't give any times or anything, just that he out during the "wee hours." He can grant three wishes-weed pulling, smash cockroaches in your house, or give you a rare item.

I played the first night until 2am and didn't see him and last night I played after work (about 3:20am) and didn't see him then either, but I'm not going to give up. He'll show up eventually.

In the cube version he comes between 12am till 3 or 4am. When you walk around the town he rings a bell if you walk towards him there is no point running around he is invisable and will only apear if you walk into him. It is worth it when you find him.

I actually ran into Wisp and he asked me to find his empty lamp, and if I found it for him, he would grant me one wish. I did find the lamp in a random place in my town. I gave it to him, and he told me to go to my attic, and rub the lamp. I did, and he appeared and offered to pull weeds, smash cockroaches, or give me an item. The weird thing was that he appeared at around 8:20.
