Wisp unable to recognize ANY amiibos?

Inexplicably now Wisp does not recognize ANY amiibos

I had been using 5 or 6 with no problems until recently (bought furniture, had a few move in, etc)

I tested this w wife's character and inexplicably Wisp accepts amiibos fine for her.

Anyone else have this issue?!

That is VERY strange.
I've actually never heard of that happening.
I would definitely contact Nintendo and tell them what's happening.
