Wisp and Kapp’n

I miss being able to see Wisp everyday like in New Leaf. I’m not a huge fan how he only comes every once in a while at night. He’s super cute and I want to see him more often but I think I’ve seen him like twice the entire time I’ve been playing the game (since it came out lol). Also I really hope they bring Kapp’n and his family back, I’m hoping that’s what the dock is for on the side of the island. Does anybody else miss these guys/other NPCs they got rid of or changed?

I’m not a huge fan of his quests either bc they’re basically just Gulliver’s repackaged. I wish he was more like in the old games where you could see him running the shops if you used an NPC’s amiibo

Ugh I forgot about Gulliver too. He keeps sending me crap items... like alpinist hat... It's not even special dude.

I didn't know Wisp had a part time job LOL

The only npc i really miss for me is phineas since he was my favorite npc and i really like his basge system in new leaf
I wish he can come back and be doing something

But yeah kapp'n must come back too somehow

Oh my gods how could I forget about Phineas I loved him! I always wished they made a standing amiibo for him because he was always so nice and it was exciting to see him bc it meant you got a new badge! My favourite was when he would say that walking in the evening made him uneasy

Wisp showing up once in a while goes back to how he was in ACGC. Then you could choose to have him pick all your weeds, get rid of cockroaches, or change the color of your roof (the only thing you could change on the exterior, and villagers would randomly run up and tell you they repainted it).

i never owned amibos, so i would hate it when he would call me over. i think his appearance in both games is tedious, i don’t like seeing him.

I also kinda miss Phineas just because it never matters how many times he pops up on the screen. Every time I see him I am still surprised lol

I love Wisp! I love stumbling upon him every time, lol. I prefer Wisp as it is now than in NL. NH Wisp is similar to GCN Wisp (his "quest" is the same), so I like how it's also a direct callback to Gamecube AC.

I'm 100% convinced that Kapp'n will return at some point.

i like wisp but i’m not mad about his visits being a bit infrequent - i’ve seen him maybe around 10 times since the game came out and i kinda find trying to find the pieces of his spirit to be a bit annoying lmao.

i don’t really miss kapp’n but i really do miss dr.shrunk and brewster ;u;

I've seen him for the past two nights, which was cool as I normally see him at least, twice a week!
