NOTE: My town is a story town, it is to honor the life of my great aunt Emmanuelle (Emma for short) who was a young Frenchwoman working as a volunteer nurse and a waitress during WWII. She worked and lived in the sweetest little pat?sserie owned by the most bitter, depraved man. And when he decided that he wanted Emmanuelle for himself, he used his power and money to make sure her love, ?mile the soldier, got the most dangerous posts. I want to honor that story.

RULES:
-You must have a screenshot of you in the dream to prove you were there OR PM me the name of the song playing in the caf? (don't post it here) if you have trouble like I do taking pictures on 3DS.
-At least 200 words guys, come on.

Stuff I still need to do:
-plant hybrids that I have ordered, but aren't ready yet
-get Marcel to suggest the sandbox PWP/build it next to jungle gym
-get Pate to move out
-move Beau in
-put water pump and flowers in
-convince certain villagers to wear nonugly clothes (CYRANO!!!!)
-build my town map sign near the police station (waiting on QR commission)
-lay down custom QRs (wanna make more big bells? some commissions still available here: http://www.belltreeforums.com/showthread.php?136632-Custom-QR-codes-300-500k-each )

I'm not entering but I think that story is absolutely incredible. Your great aunt seems like a hell of a woman and the fact that you made your town about it is amazing in itself. I'll visit your town later when I have the chance!

First thing it the weather fits the story. Thank you for leaving us a umbrella and clothes. The paths are simple and they work with this beautiful town.Your whole town has a french theme and it really fits your story. I love the bamboo forest, it's clean and even. All the pwps are placed very well. All love all the flowers spread around, they are all very organized. You have so many hybrids. I love Emma's house, going by your story, it really fits in as her being a waitress. All your villagers seem to fit in with this theme. (Was that planned?) My favorite area is by the town hall. All the roses surrounding it and the fountain in front was a great idea. Your town does not seem crowded, which I like. Why did you place the cafe so close to the river? The house at the top right is perfectly furnished, made me alittle jealous. Leaving the trap of pitfalls over by the candy made me laugh. It was very sweet of you dedicating this town to your great aunt's story. Your town is very beautiful and it fits your great aunt's story very well. This town tops mine big time. I would visit your town again. <3

Here I am talking to Emile!

I'll start from the plaza and make review notes as I walk through town.

I love your water paths in the plaza. It really makes it look nice. The clothing selection is nice as well. I dressed up in the butterfly dress. Thanks for leaving the umbrella and rain boots out, it really fits with the rain going on! The rain really suits your town.

Walking around the plaza, good placement for the police station as well. The tree stump by Merengue's house seems kind of random? I think you should replace it with a stump with a special design, it would look nicer IMO.

Bonbon. Oh my gosh, Bonbon! I don't think I have seen Bonbon yet in anybody's town. I love her though, you have good taste!

Okay, Caroline's house! The left wing is very nice. It has a lot of furniture but you can still easily navigate the room. And the furniture all looks nice together! The back room is AMAZING! You did so much with that space and it works wonderfully, looks beautiful, and doesn't look too full at ALL despite the amount of things going on in the space. The pattern on the Alpine furniture really looks nice. Probably my favorite room in the house!

The "I Love You" next to the picnic blanket is a really nice touch. But again, I would maybe replace the plain stump with a print one.

You are really awesome at planting fruit trees. The orchards look amazing and huge but yet they don't overtake the town!

Is there a purpose for the paper scrap outside of Cousteau's house? (By the way Cousteau not only fits your town theme by his name and look, he also fits it with the inside of his house!)

Emile's house. This one really works with the story. Knowing the story behind the town really makes this house more impacting. And his character is spot on too.

Crossing into the southern half of your town, I like how the gold roses look by the bell. AND OH MY GOSH! PRESENTS!!! Is the stationary supposed to represent your great aunt writing letters to Emile? If so, nice touch.

CYRANO'S SHIRT! I AM CRACKING UP! You were not joking! It's hilarious though.

I really do love how each fruit has their own section of town.

Emma's house. The front room might be the most perfect Cafe I've ever seen. It's obvious you put a lot of work into it. And nice touch putting a kitchen in the back room. The bell bag sitting upstairs in what I'm assuming is the cafe owner's office is a very subtle thing but a very good touch. And I'm assuming the basement is your great aunt's apartment? This whole house is INCREDIBLY well done!

DUG UP THAT PITFALL! NICE TRY! :P
FREE CANDY?!?! Best. Town. Ever.

The Jacob's ladders really compliment the Well.

And the beach. The white lillies actually look really nice when they cover the beach like that. Is there some significance for Hypno KK being buried on the beach?

All in all, a very good town. Not much really that you need to improve upon (aside from Cyrano's hilarious shirt and Merengue's is kinda ugly too.) And I would suggest replacing the plain stumps with ones with special designs, I think they would look much nicer. Also maybe fill the top half of your beach with flowers too? It seems rather plain compared to the rest of the town. And also maybe replace the white bench by Re-Tail with another metal bench? I think metal suits your town much better. :3 You are incredibly good at putting random items here and there that really help to tell the story!

This is lovely. I suck at reviews, but you're awesome and your story is amazing ;v; It's SO cool that you made a town for it. Good luck to everyone!! <33

Is it too late to do this? I honestly don't need the bells, just the items. :P
Maybe I should just back off. I'd rather not take bells from someone who needs them.

I like the patterns when I first enter the town, but isn't a bit odd that you have two water streams right next to each other. Another issue I had that the cafe was in a tight spot next to the river. :( It just feels a little sad that it can't be moved. I adore the path, however, most people make their paths 2 blocks wide. Another idea is that you could put flower bed projects on the path and plant flowers on top of it. Purple, since that seems to be the theme.

I ADORE the harmonious room. How you managed to shove all of that in one room is beyond me. May I suggest adding crickets or goldfish into that room? The crickets appear in cages, which is how they are kept in Japan (according to the AC wiki). I don't know what else you have, but some orderable items that would go nice in there are: Lovely Doll, Cacao Tree, Moth Orchid, Paper Tiger, Zodiac bobbleheads

The mint pattern in this room fits well with the alpine wall. Even if you didn't draws, it is very nice in the room and I wouldn't make any changes to it. ;)
HNI_0036.JPG
This really reminds me of a person's house that would be poor. What would be nice is some random trash lying about the room. Other than that, it seems like a pretty nice room and fits the theme perfectly.

The Jacob's ladders around the fountain are extremely gorgeous. This is my favorite area in your town.
HNI_0038.JPG
This is a cute little cafe. The wall and floor match extremely well together. Although, the sweets series looks a bit strange in what is supposed to be a realistic town. Whenever you get another house, I would move it to a sweets themed room instead. I've used stools in my own cafe before, but I found out that classic chairs/customized alpine chairs look the best in cafes. I'd suggest using a fall leaf tee/mint gingham for the custom design.
HNI_0039.JPG
This room looks like it could be a normal small house/room. (Disregarding the sweets bed). I think you should move the nurse at the sink like she's getting ready to go out to her job. :)

Overall this seems like a very nice town for a WIP. I'll try to revisit it again soon, :)

When I read the little background note about your town, I didn't expect you two make characters to represent Emma and Emile at all, which was my favorite part of the town. I first came across Caroline who says "once there was a war". I liked that you portrayed yourself as the narrator, which you are, of the story of your great aunt. However, I didn't really get the quotes Emma and Emile said but I definitely think you should talk more about their relationship because it seems interesting! Overall, I think your town is beautiful and very well put together. I liked how there was a ticket in the train station, how each of the houses matched their owner, the flowers, and the path especiallu. Of course, you can't have France without the Eiffel Tower either, which I thought was a nice touch. :)

Emma's "je te trouverai" means i will find you and ?mile's "je reviendrai vers toi" means i will come back to you. ;D
