id love a voodoo doll, my favorite thing about halloween is being able to trick or treat with my friends, our neigghboorhood is really good when it comes to halloween, there are a lot of decorations, and they actually give out full sized candy bars, dunkin donuts gives out free pumpkin donuts and everyone is usually reall nice!

Halloween is my favorite day of the year. It's basically like a second birthday, a month before my real one. I have been a fan of horror, be it in story, game, or movie form since I was a child. I watch a ton of horror movies during the month of October leading up to a grand marathon for the entirety of Halloween. I'm a writer and aspire to someday create horror movies that other people can enjoy on their Halloween nights.

Halloween encompasses everything I love about Autumn, my favorite season. I love the colors, I love the fallen leaves, I love the pumpkins, I love the cooler temperatures. I love that we have a day dedicated to the scary, the strange, and the unsettling. Whether you're a kid or an adult, Halloween has a lot to offer and it's overall just a fun day.

It's impossible for me to decide on just one reason why I love Halloween. There is simply a vibe to Halloween that has always resonated with me. I even eat pumpkin roll (look up a recipe, it's great!) on Halloween just like other people have birthday cakes or Christmas cookies. While kids may trick or treat before sunset nowadays and many people might not appreciate the unique spirit of the holiday, Halloween will always be a special day to me.

My favorite thing about halloween is that my family and I all get together and watch the Nightmare Before Christmas. We do it every year.. This is my first Halloween away from home, and watching alone just doesn't feel the same. So I'm gonna carry the tradition with my roommates! Even though she doesn't like Tim Burton. ​
