I'm buying a new laptop. Should I get another computer or a macbook? I'd like to hear from people that have used both...

I'm not a PC gamer. No MMORPGs or shooters or any of that...I would still like to be able to play games like pac man though, lol.

I would get a Windows PC, Mac doesn't have Copy and Paste which makes it fail.

I'd imagine macs have some form of copy and paste...

You sound pretty baised.
Copy and Paste is a Windows feature, I said I would get a Windows, you can get what you want.

Yeah sorry I'm just looking for people who have used both...this is gonna cost a lot of money so I want to use it the best way possible. The reason I'm looking into a mac is because my friends told me that macs don't get viruses.

And you can copy and paste on a mac by holding down the control key and clicking and with command + c and command + v.

Just stop talking. I'm on a mac now and as you can see, I can copy and paste. I'm on a mac now and as you can see, I can copy and paste. I'm on a mac now and as you can see, I can copy and paste. Anyway, i've used both and still use both and i've got to say I much prefer Macs. They're so much more efficient. If you want to know reasons why I suggest you PM me, I don't feel like getting wound up in a Mac vs PC debate, I have better things to do with my time.

I say Windows, but it really, really, REALLY depends on what you're using it for, how much money you have, and what you like.

I use my computer for chatting and looking up information on the internet, music, writing, and playing games (nothing that would require a ton of RAM, just games on arcade sites and stuff). I've got about 2000 dollars saved up for this.

Ok, I'd go for a PC then.
A Mac'll run you a little extra, and it doesn't sound like you really need any of the things that Macs do better. Sounds like you just need a basic computer.

This is what a lot of people fail to see with the Mac.

A mac is a basic computer, it just does things a hell of a lot better and smoother. Also, they run more efficiently, or atleast that's what i've found.

I've had two computers in my life and they've both made me want to take them out back and destroy them with an axe far more times than I'd prefer...the last computer I bought I've had two years and I've had to have it repaired more times than I can count and now it's completely dead. I'm looking into a mac for the sake of my nerves, I'm fed up with blue screens and error reports.

A mac comes with a bunch of things I'd rather not pay for, though.
If you just want am easy computer, I'd go for Windows just because of the cheapness.

That's mostly the reason I bought one. I've had mine for a year now and not had one problem with it ^_^

EDIT: Cheapness is all well and good, but that cheapness adds up when you have to keep buying new computers because they break.

Basic computer maintenance is all that's required.
